This quote, from Jessica Hische, heard on her video entry on Humble Pied, really resonated with me (and many others judging from the comments).
I was forever procrastinating away from my Psychology work by designing, always drawing and photographing when I should have been writing an essay on clinical psychology or reading up about health psychology. The day that I came to the realisation that I absolutely LOVED design in a way that Psychology could never really fulfil, was a day that I became much happier within myself. And it was the day I decided that I definitely couldn’t enter into some fulltime psychology job.
I completely agree with the sentiment here. Get doing what you love, because doing something that you don’t have an incredible passion for, day in day out, will slowly drain you. Go!
